Israel inside out was very interesting in the way it focused on the Palestine/Israel conflict, and how the media presents the conflict. In the United States, I feel like our understanding of the conflict and of Israel is very much shaped by our media - and our ability to look outside of the common media sources, confirm citations, and critically think. I learned a lot about the current conflicts in Israel, as well as the history of Israel politically, and how the media has presented Israel and its conflicts. I have a unique experience perhaps because one of my best friends is a Syrian, so I frequently see his perspective on social media. Through discussion we have delved into the conflict, and he has helped me understand a perspective that is different. So it was interesting to see how media effects his perspective and mine, from what we choose to focus on or believe.

Finally, I never knew how much antisemitism was on campuses and how many people this effected.
