The most meaningful moment in Israel was overlooking Masada and seeing Israel's absolute beauty. Glancing around the great country from high above gave me a sense or respect for the beauty of Israel. It is important for Jews to go on Birthright to experience the homeland of the Jewish people and appreciate the architecture, land, food, and people of Israel.
The name of the synagogue I attended was Chabad on SDSU campus. I attended Friday night services and it was a great way to read the prayers and start Shabbat. I would definitely come back.
The name of the synagogue I joined is Temple Beth Shalom in Tustin, California. I have joined this synagogue because I like the rabbi and it is where my parents have always gone.
This was my first time at Hillel for a rosh Hashanah prayer service. I felt like it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again next year. I think that the services are very important in order to get a deeper and even better understanding of the purpose and importance of Rosh Hashanah.
Delicious dinner at hillel. Great people and great food.
Such a Fantastic event. So many great people
